Some 19 build-to-rent two-bedroom apartments are being developed at Chatham Waterfront, with an open-plan layout and a private balcony or terrace
The Orion Wharf development comes from Three Sixty Space and Medway Development Company.
The development offers easy access to cafés, shops, cultural spaces and excellent transport links, connecting residents to London St Pancras in 38 minutes and the wider South East in under an hour.
Justine Edmonds, head of build to rent, LRG, said: “Orion Wharf marks the third phase of our Build to Rent journey at Chatham Waterfront.
“With Pioneer Wharf and Ardent Wharf almost completely let, the appetite for high-quality rental homes in this thriving riverside location continues to soar.
“Orion Wharf will build on this success, completing a vibrant community that blends contemporary design, sustainability and exceptional living standards in one of the South East’s most dynamic regeneration areas.”
The development is close to the Great Lines Heritage Park, with nearby attractions including Chatham Snowsports Centre and Buckmore Park.
Lewis Small, managing director, Medway Development Company, said: “The success of Pioneer Wharf and Ardent Wharf has shown the strong demand for high-quality rental homes in Chatham’s regenerated waterfront.
“With Orion Wharf now following in their footsteps, we’re continuing to build on that momentum and deliver exceptional homes that meet the needs of today’s renters.
“Together, these three developments demonstrate how our vision for the waterfront is becoming a reality – creating a thriving, sustainable community that showcases the best of modern Medway living.”
