Real estate consultancy Knight Frank has launched a private office in Australia for high net worth clients.

The office will operate with the support of its Australia and New Zealand partners, McGrath Estate Agents and Bayleys.

Knight Frank will offer an acquisitions, sales and investment service across every real estate sector.

Knight Frank also has private offices in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and Jeddah.

Ari Petrovs is heading up the Australia office, who previously ran his own development, advisory and project marketing firm called The Petrovs Property Kompany.

Before that he held a number of roles at commercial real estate firm CBRE.

The private office team will also consist of ambassadors, including Knight Frank chief executive James Patterson, McGrath chief executive John McGrath, McGrath head of international and private clients Adam Ross and Bayleys chairman and managing director Mike Bayley.

Knight Frank and New Zealand-based Bayleys, both privately owned, have had a strategic relationship since 2018, and together in June 2024 the two firms acquired a controlling stake in McGrath.
