Saudi Arabia has opened some real estate for foreigners to live in and use some areas.
Diriyah, the capital of the first Saudi state, established in 1727, is opening up its markets to foreigners.
The area is expected to be home to 100,000 people and eventually welcome millions of tourists each year.
Vision 2030 is a Saudi project aiming to increase tourism, and reduce the country’s dependency on oil.
There is also a loosening of ownership rules, as currently a 49% foreign ownership cap is in place.
However from 1 February foreign investors can invest in Saudi-listed equities provided they use Saudi intermediaries.
