A new software platform designed to identify Land Registry registration issues before submission has been launched by two conveyancing directors in the north east of England.<\/p>\n

RegLand, developed by Ruth Beeton and Mark Priestley, directors at HS Conveyancing, aims to analyse submissions against common registration risks before applications are sent to the Land Registry. The platform focuses on identifying missing supporting evidence and procedural errors that frequently result in requisitions and delays.<\/p>\n

Industry pressures drive demand<\/h2>\n

The platform\u2019s launch comes as the conveyancing sector faces ongoing efficiency pressures, compliance demands and delays. The technology sector has seen increased activity recently, with acquisitions in property technology<\/a> and legal challenges for major platforms<\/a> highlighting the sector\u2019s evolution.<\/p>\n

Unlike standard workflow or document management tools, RegLand has been designed specifically around post-completion and Land Registry requirements, according to the developers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cFor too long, conveyancers have had to submit applications and simply hope everything is right,\u201d Beeton said. \u201cThis is not technology built by people outside the industry trying to guess how conveyancing works. This has been built by conveyancers who understand the real pressures, risks and frustrations involved in registration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Limited pilot programme<\/h2>\n

The platform is currently available through a limited free pilot programme ahead of its full commercial launch. Conveyancing firms can apply for early access through the company\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
