Despite this, 77% based their asking price on an agent\u2019s valuation.<\/p>\n<p>LRG cited Zoopla data indicating that 44% of homes listed over the past three years failed to sell, with a third of those sellers acknowledging they had priced too ambitiously.<\/p>\n<p>Louth added that the Bank of England\u2019s decision to maintain interest rates unchanged should support market confidence. \u201cBuyers are active, lenders are competing hard for business, and there is positive momentum across the market,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The research comes as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertywire.com\/news\/uk\/homebuyers-increasingly-ask-about-heat-performance\/\">buyer priorities continue to evolve<\/a>, with pricing accuracy joining property condition and running costs as key decision factors.
