The National Landlord Investment Show has launched a training series to help landlords and property professionals prepare for the upcoming Renters\u2019 Rights Bill, soon to be an act.<\/p>\n
The training will take place on\u00a029 October 2025\u00a0at Old Billingsgate, London, as part of the UK\u2019s largest property exhibition, which is free to attend subject to registration<\/p>\n
With the Renters\u2019 Rights Bill due to be reviewed in the House of Lords on 14th October for the final stages of \u201cping pong\u201d on amendments, the Bill is moving closer to becoming an Act.<\/p>\n
Suzanne Smith, founder of The Independent Landlord, said: \u201cWhether you\u2019re a self-managing landlord, someone who uses letting agents, or a property professional, you need to understand the new regime the Renters\u2019 Rights Act will bring.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis free in-person training at the National Landlord Investment Show is unique, with genuine experts sharing actionable, practical tips on how to prepare for implementation, and I\u2019m proud to be kicking it off with my session at 11:15.\u201d<\/p>\n
The training will be a\u00a0three-part series\u00a0taking place across the event, led by property industry experts with an in-depth focus on the new assured tenancy system, the changes to evictions, and new landlord obligations and penalties.<\/p>\n
In addition to the Renters\u2019 Rights training series, landlords can attend over\u00a050+ free seminars\u00a0throughout the day, covering topics such as making tax digital, investment strategies and financing tips.<\/p>\n
The exhibition will host\u00a0100+ expert property service\u00a0providers\u00a0offering services across tax, mortgages, property management, lettings, legal advice, and more \u2013 providing landlords access to the service providers needed to run a successful portfolio and property business. The exhibition will open at 08:30 am and will run until 17:00.<\/p>\n
