Work has started building 54 sustainable homes next to woodland in Medstead after homebuilder Ashberry Homes purchased a plot of land to the south of the East Hampshire village.<\/p>\n
The site, which is to the rear of Brackenbury Gardens and Boyneswood Close in the village with access from Holland Drive, has been purchased with full planning permission for the development in place.<\/p>\n
The development will be made up of 47 homes for private sale and seven shared ownership properties. The homes will range from one-bedroom maisonettes to five-bedroom houses.<\/p>\n
The first homes are due to go on sale in March next year.<\/p>\n
Graeme Cole, sales director for Ashberry Homes, said: \u201cThis is a delightful location, and our plans are designed to respect and enhance the natural environment while providing sustainable homes.<\/p>\n

The development will be called Woodview Chase, which will feature public open space and a play area, and the homebuilder has planned a range of measures to protect and enhance the biodiversity of the nearly six-acre site.<\/p>\n
As part of the planning agreement for the development, the housebuilder will also invest in improvements for the area including a \u00a3279,310 contribution towards pedestrian and cycle infrastructure and improvements in the Four Marks and Medstead area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
