{"id":4675,"date":"2025-10-19T03:02:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-19T03:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/second-home.uk\/?p=4675"},"modified":"2025-10-19T03:02:29","modified_gmt":"2025-10-19T03:02:29","slug":"ai-expected-to-revolutionise-construction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/second-home.uk\/?p=4675","title":{"rendered":"AI expected to revolutionise construction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over three quarters (77%) of global decision makers agree that AI will become increasingly important in construction and infrastructure over the next five years, research by project management firm Currie &#038; Brown has revealed.<\/p>\n<p>As it stands a quarter (25%) of companies regularly use AI to identify, monitor or mitigate risk in their construction projects, while 20% don\u2019t use it all.<\/p>\n<p>Sean Cole, senior director and global high-tech lead at Currie &#038; Brown, said: \u201cThere\u2019s a clear paradox. The organisations that most need technology to reduce uncertainty are the least likely to adopt it. That\u2019s a risk in itself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAI has real potential to reduce risk, improve performance and strengthen delivery. But it\u2019s not the starting point. Agile organisations are already ahead. They are quicker to spot risk and better equipped to manage it using tools like AI. It means thinking differently, acting faster and adapting continuously. Certainty and resilience aren\u2019t just by-products of technology.
