Invesco Real Estate has committed to acquire a 109-unit residential asset within Cambridge\u2019s Marleigh Park masterplan for \u00a340 million.<\/p>\n
There are two residential buildings still under construction. The first, totalling 32 units, is expected to complete by the end of 2025, while the second, 77-unit building is scheduled for handover in Q3 2026.<\/p>\n
The transaction with housebuilder, The Hill Group, has been undertaken on behalf of one of Invesco Real Estate\u2019s German separate account mandates.<\/p>\n

Situated on the eastern edge of Cambridge, Marleigh Park is one of the region\u2019s most ambitious urban developments.<\/p>\n

Once complete, it is expected to deliver 1,391 new homes alongside community infrastructure and extensive green space, creating a high-quality, self-contained neighbourhood.<\/p>\n
Residents will have access to a broad range of amenities, including an already flourishing primary school, sports playing fields, restaurants, retail and community facilities.<\/p>\n
The project is being developed by The Hill Group, which has already completed 547 homes and a new community centre around Jubilee Square as part of the first phase of Marleigh Park.<\/p>\n
This latest deal marks the third build-to-rent (BTR) transaction for Hill.<\/p>\n
