A 340-home development in the village of Sawtry will bring a number of two, three and four bedroom homes to market.<\/p>\n
There will be 138 homes from housebuilder Allison Homes Central and 202 from Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, while 40% of the homes will be delivered as \u2018affordable\u2019.<\/p>\n
The two developers will contribute over \u00a35.6 million to Huntingdonshire District Council towards local infrastructure, which will fund Wellside Surgery, sports facilities, early years and primary education facilities and support improvements to bus routes.<\/p>\n
Allison Homes has now commenced construction work on the site, with Taylor Wimpey set to begin in July 2026. <\/p>\n

Land will be provided to Cambridgeshire County Council for the construction of a new primary school, and over 4.5 hectares of public open space will be delivered, including a neighbourhood equipped area for play and allotments. <\/p>\n
