Leaking bathrooms, emergency plumbers and flushing issues are by far the worst in Inverness, the northernmost city in the UK, analysis from CCL Wetrooms shows.<\/p>\n

The city records the highest number of bathroom emergency searches per capita in the UK, reflecting its aging water infrastructure, shifting geology and freezing weather in winter.<\/p>\n

Wrexham is the second worst city, followed by Derry \u2013 signalling that smaller cities seem to have more issues.<\/p>\n

The highest-ranking large city is Leeds, where there is very high demand for emergency plumbers and tap repairs.<\/p>\n

At the other end of the spectrum Southampton has the lowest number of bathroom-related searches per 1,000 residents, while issues are also particularly rare in Manchester, Nottingham and Leicester.<\/p>\n

The research is based on Google search data to uncover where residents are most\u00a0frequently\u00a0dealing with leaks, broken toilets, faulty\u00a0taps\u00a0and urgent plumbing emergencies.<\/p>\n
