This includes the year\u2019s largest single-family housing transaction: Northern LGPS &#038; LPPI\u2019s \u00a31.1 bn acquisition of PRS Holdco.<\/p>\n<p>By share of total investment, Single Family BTR accounted for 58%, while Multifamily BTR represented 42%. Single-asset transactions contributed \u00a32.69 bn, with portfolio deals totalling \u00a31.93bn.<\/p>\n<p>Key deals this year have included: the sale of Gatehouse Living Group and JV partner TPG Real Estate\u2019s 610 home Start Living portfolio to Lloyds Living, Penta and Ballymore\u2019s joint venture to build 680 homes at Isle of Dogs and Nine Elms as well as Blackstone\u2019s portfolio sale to Placefirst in the South East.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Investment into the Build to Rent sector surged by 14% year-on-year in 2025, amounting to \u00a34.7bn, CBRE research found.
