Specialist development and bridging lender Avamore Capital has reported a 91% increase in completion volumes in H2 compared with the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n
Q4 2025 marked Avamore\u2019s second-best quarter on record, despite the uncertainty that affected the property market in the build-up to the Autumn Budget at the end of November.<\/p>\n
Avamore says its investment in technology has been a major contributor to this growth, driving better operational efficiency, predictability and reliability.<\/p>\n
Deals ranged from \u00a3238,000 to \u00a35 million across more than 60 loans, covering all of Avamore\u2019s core products, with particular focus on smaller residential schemes, HMOs, and commercial-to-residential conversions. The lender was also active in exit bridging and its signature part-complete loans, although it noted continued viability challenges in the part-complete market.<\/p>\n

The strategic growth aims to enhance origination capabilities while maintaining robust credit and asset management functions, which will, alongside the company\u2019s tech stack, help support a target of originating up to \u00a3250 million of new lending in the 2026\/27 financial year.<\/p>\n On the loan performance front, Avamore has also made significant strides. Under Finance Director Nicholas Duke, who oversees asset management, the company has nearly halved the non-performing loans (NPLs) under management over the past year, despite persistent challenges in construction and sluggish sales across segments of the housing market.<\/p>\n Commenting on asset performance, Co-Managing Director Jacob Bouet Andersen (pictured, left)\u00a0said: \u201cIt remains a difficult market for many of our clients, but we continue to work proactively with all stakeholders to resolve issues fairly and quickly.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWhile recent interest rate cuts are encouraging, we won\u2019t be complacent. Swift, early intervention remains key to our approach. Experience has shown us that letting issues linger makes them far harder to resolve.
