Housebuilder Briar Homes has started work on a residential development in Kennoway in Fife, which has been named \u2018Weavers View\u2019.<\/p>\n
The project will deliver 137 homes with \u00a340 million of investment, of which 123 will be for sale and 14 for social rent for Fife Council.<\/p>\n
The development will offer three- and four-bedroom homes.<\/p>\n
Paul Kelly, managing director of Briar Homes, said: \u201cWe\u2019re excited to reveal the name Weavers View as we start work on site.<\/p>\n
\u201cKennoway has a rich history and a strong sense of community, and these new homes will provide much-needed housing for first-time buyers and growing families.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe name celebrates the village\u2019s heritage while looking forward to its future.\u201d<\/p>\n
The village was historically known for weaving, shoemaking and malting, which is why Weavers View was chosen as the name.<\/p>\n
The development is located on the eastern edge of Kennoway, north of Levern Road, with access to nearby Leven and Methil, local schools, and scenic green spaces including Kennoway Den.<\/p>\n
