SCA Tax has launched Post Complete, a stamp duty calculation and review service designed to ease the compliance burden on conveyancers.<\/p>\n
The service has been launched ahead of the HMRC proposed tax adviser registration changes, which are due in May 2026, which means filing SDLT returns is treated as tax advice for the purposes of the proposed tax adviser registration regime set out in the Finance Bill 2025-26.<\/p>\n
Matthew Gannon, an AAT-qualified tax specialist and SDLT expert who joined SCA Tax from PwC last year to lead the Post Complete team, said: \u201cWe know these changes are coming, and there\u2019s no benefit in waiting for the final guidance before firms start putting stronger processes in place.<\/p>\n
