In contrast, more affordable family homes, especially terraced and semi-detached houses, usually sell quicker due to higher demand.<\/p>\n
The slowest market across the entirety of the UK was Aberdeen, where it takes 150 days to sell.<\/p>\n
Semi-detached homes generally sell quicker in this city, up for sale for 107 days on average. Properties priced between \u00a3500,000 and \u00a31,000,000 take 79 fewer days to sell.<\/p>\n
After that comes Bournemouth (143), Luton (132) and Brighton and Hove (130).<\/p>\n
Glasgow\u2019s housing market is the fastest in the UK, with properties selling in just 36 days.<\/p>\n
The quickest sales are for semi-detached and terraced homes, popular among young professionals and families drawn to the area.<\/p>\n
