{"id":9471,"date":"2026-03-20T21:02:34","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T21:02:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/second-home.uk\/?p=9471"},"modified":"2026-03-20T21:02:34","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T21:02:34","slug":"lsl-reports-18-operating-margin-in-2025-full-year-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/second-home.uk\/?p=9471","title":{"rendered":"LSL reports 18% operating margin in 2025 full-year results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LSL Property Services, the parent company of Reeds Rains and Your Move, has reported a group underlying operating profit of \u00a332.6 million for the year ending 2025, up from \u00a327.8 million in 2024, according to its latest financial results.<\/p>\n<p>The company recorded an underlying operating margin of 18%, which it described as a record, with group revenue increasing 6% to \u00a3182.9 million from \u00a3173.3 million in the previous year.<\/p>\n<h2>Geopolitical concerns<\/h2>\n<p>Adam Castleton, Group CEO at LSL, addressed the current macroeconomic environment in the company\u2019s statement, noting: \u201cThe macroeconomic and geopolitical environment remains uncertain, with renewed concerns around inflation and interest rate expectations contributing to near-term uncertainty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have not seen any adverse impact on trading across the Group in recent weeks, with front-end metrics remaining stable,\u201d Castleton said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>He added that 2025 had been \u201ca year of strong delivery and building momentum for LSL,\u201d with improved profitability across each division and strong cash generation alongside continued investment.<\/p>\n<h2>Recent acquisitions and contracts<\/h2>\n<p>In January, LSL announced its first Automated Valuation Model (AVM) contract through its surveying and valuation arm, E.surv. The company also acquired National Search Service (NSS), a Huddersfield-based property search firm, at the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Castleton stated that \u201ctrading in 2026 has been in line with our expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company describes itself as \u201cthe leading B2B platform for UK residential property services\u201d and operates multiple brands in the estate agency and property services sector.
